- Develop, maintain, and enhance COBOL programs in line with business requirements.
- Perform debugging, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure system reliability and functionality.
- Analyze existing systems and programs, identifying areas for improvement or optimization.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for system processes and updates.
- Ensure system compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for legacy applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to gather and define project requirements.
คุณสมบัติ
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in coding COBOL.
- Experience with DB2, VSAM, and other mainframe databases.
- Strong knowledge of COBOL, JCL and CICS.
- Familiarity with mainframe tools like TSO/ISPF and file management systems.
- Skilled in handling input file specifications, output file formats, and designing logic for report generation.
- Proficiency in managing and documenting workflows, and working with an in-house tam is a plus.
