Develop, maintain, and enhance COBOL programs in line with business requirements.
Perform debugging, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure system reliability and functionality.
Analyze existing systems and programs, identifying areas for improvement or optimization.
Create and maintain technical documentation for system processes and updates.
Ensure system compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for legacy applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to gather and define project requirements.

A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in coding COBOL.
Experience with DB2, VSAM, and other mainframe databases.
Strong knowledge of COBOL, JCL and CICS.
Familiarity with mainframe tools like TSO/ISPF and file management systems.
Skilled in handling input file specifications, output file formats, and designing logic for report generation.
Proficiency in managing and documenting workflows, and working with an in-house tam is a plus.
