Job description
- Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases for Desktop, Mobile Web, and APIs.
- Test both core business flows, edge cases, and complex scenarios.
- Investigate issues across Application, API, and Backend layers.
- Analyze solution design, system flows, and sequence diagrams.
- Verify backend data using basic database queries.
- Work closely with Developers, QA, and Business teams to investigate and resolve issues.
- Identify, log, and track defects in Jira with supporting evidence such as logs, screenshots, and recordings.
- Proactively follow up on defects, blockers, and testing gaps until resolution.
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in Software Testing / Manual Testing.
- Strong experience in Manual Testing for Desktop, Mobile Web, and APIs.
- Experience in test case design, defect management, and Jira.
- Able to investigate issues across App, API, and Backend with basic SQL/DB queries.
- Good understanding of System Flow, API interactions, Backend flow, and Sequence Diagrams.
- Strong analytical, logical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Banking, Business Banking, Financial Services, or Payment experience is a plus.
- Able to work hybrid with 1–3 days on-site per week.
