Job description
- Develop, enhance, and maintain automated tests for Mobile Applications and APIs.
- Develop reusable and maintainable automation code using Appium and TypeScript.
- Understand API flows, sequence diagrams, and integration between Mobile App, API, and Backend systems.
- Build automation scripts from test cases, business flows, and acceptance criteria provided by QA.
- Investigate automation failures, flaky tests, framework issues, and technical blockers.
- Support web or hybrid application automation using Playwright.
- Work closely with QA and Developers to clarify test scenarios and resolve automation issues.
- Follow coding standards and existing automation framework conventions.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in Software Development, Test Automation, or related roles.
- Hands-on experience with Appium + TypeScript and Mobile Test Automation.
- Experience with API testing and understanding of App/API/Backend integration.
- Good understanding of async/await, Promises, and asynchronous JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Familiar with Playwright for web or hybrid application testing.
- Able to write clean, reusable, and maintainable automation code.
- Native Mobile App experience required | Mini App/Embedded App experience is a plus.
- Good troubleshooting, communication, and coordination skills.
